Brett was brought up on the Whangateau Harbour and spent an enormous amount of his youth cruising the Hauraki Gulf with many a fishing and diving trip to Great Barrier Island. With a life time passion for fishing, Brett and his wife Chris now own and operate the Boat & Fishing shop in Warkworth along with the Charter Boat 'Assassin' which they operate out of Sandspit harbour. Brett provides the weekly fishing reports in the local Rodney times and on the local radio, he is also very active in trying to protect our rights as recreational fishermen.
