Anchoring Tips:Open to the north, but good shelter in anything from the south. Good holding in sand in 3-4m approx. 200m off western end where it's usually best for dinghy landing. Can be subject to ground swell from recent northerlies. Move across to south-east side for easterlies.
Services:Variety of shops and cafes within easy walk from western end of beach. A seven-day-a-week medical centre and chemist is also available.
Features:A long, crescent-shaped sandy beach is popular for picnics, swimming and sunbathing, within easy walk of the social facilities in the village.
